calibration

Tools required

Mobile phone with WIFI, Tablet or PC.
Tools & Allen Keys
Calibrator (94 dB or 114 dB)

procedure

Remove the windshield from the microphone.
Place the calibrator on the end of the microphone.
Switch ON the calibrator

WITH YOUR device CONNECT TO THE MONITOR VIA WIFI

ACCESS THE CALIBRATION MENU

With your device, connect to the Sonitus Systems WIFI.

Enter the password: (01371 871 030)

(may take 3 attempts with the same password...)

Open a web-browser on a smart-phone, tablet or PC.

Enter the access point address in the address bar

http://10.1.1.2

When successfully connected. You will be prompted again to enter a username and password.

Username: campbell

Password: call 01371 871 030

Use the burger menu drop-down.

Select the Calibrate option.

Ensure the area for calibration is as quiet as possible.

Follow the calibration instructions on screen.

Enter a calibration level [as written on the calibrator i.e. 114dB]

Click Start and wait 20 seconds for the calibration to finish.

Click Apply to save the new settings.

Make a note of the sensitivity for future reference.

Once applied the unit will reboot, and you will lose WIFI connection.

Calibration is now complete. Replace the windshield.

Accuracy : IEC 61672 Class 1

Dynamic Range : 17 to 121dB(A)

Frequency Range : 20Hz to 20kHz

Frequency Weighting : A and C weighting

Parameters: LEQ, L5, L10, L50, L90, L95, LMAX

Measurement Period: 1, 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes

Data Storage: 5 years (5-minute logging)

Procedure: Automatic measurement and logging

Power Input: 110V-240V AC / 12V DC

Power Consumption: 8 - 16V DC (battery option) Maximum Current: 2.4W - Peak 4.5W
