Noise monitor

The EM2030 is intended for use in situations where you need reliable noise measurements with the minimum amount of effort.

TIP: when fixing the mounting rail to the rear of the cabinet, use a washer to make a space between the rail & the box. This will allow a slot for the microphone right angle bracket to slot into.

When mounting the unit on the side of a building or hoarding, use a long pole to extend the microphone at least 1 metre from the facade.

mounting the microphone:

Microphone should be mounted at a height of 1.4m to 4m depending on the receptor, in free field away from any reflective surfaces.

If the unit is fixed to a fence line or barrier, the unit should be mounted above the top of the barrier.

Plug power supply into the mains AC connector at the bottom of the cabinet. As indicated below.

Power off:

Remove power supply from the mains AC connector at the bottom of the cabinet.

Power Supply options:

40Ah Battery | 110/240v mains.

My DM30 dust monitor is powered on, but not data is coming through, why is this?

Generally, if the monitor is powered on (you see a green light inside the cabinet), yet is not sending data to the cloud, this will be due to a lack of signal at the current location. Try relocating the monitor to another position on site. If data is still not coming through, please contact our support team for assistance.
My DM30 monitor is showing red on Sonitus Cloud, why is this?

Generally, this will be an indication that the monitor is not receiving power. Please check all cables are attached correctly and have not been damaged. If the monitor is powered by battery, please make sure this is charged. Due to low voltage protection features of the monitor, a battery with charge percentage below 30% should be considered flat and will need to be charged.
